Rabobank launches new payments service based on mobile number

Dutch bank Rabobank is launching a money transfer service based on mobile phone numbers. No bank account number is needed to send money to someone, only their mobile number. The transfer is conducted over the bank's mobile app, and payments are nearly instant, the same as with a local bank account.
