Rain reports strong H1 customer growth, targets 2 mln customers in a few years

Rain aims to achieve 2 million local customers over the next few years as it reaches a ZAR 17.1 billion valuation, ITWeb reported. African Rainbow Capital (ARC), which owns 20.37 percent of Rain, has released interim financial results for the six months ended 31 December 2020. In a business update webinar, ARC co-CEO Johan van Zyl said the operator is making good progress with its strategy to establish a data network in metropolitan South Africa, and it has had strong growth in clients over the last six months.
