Rakuten books JPY 110 billion gain from Lyft IPO

Rakuten announced that it will realise a gain of JPY 110 billion (USD 990 million) from the IPO of ride-sharing firm Lyft. The successful listing led to an increase in the value of Rakuten's stake in Lyft, and the valuation gain will be booked in the fiscal fourth quarter to March.
