Rakuten Kobo launches e-reader in Japan

Rakuten Kobo, a subsidiary of Rakuten, released its new eReader, the Kobo Glo HD, in Japan. The device is available for purchase from the Rakuten Kobo eBook Store and selected online and offline retail stores in Japan. The price of the device is JPN 12,800 (including tax). Globally announced in April, and already available in North American and European markets, the Kobo Glo HD features a high resolution Carta E Ink HD touch screen and compact 6-inch design.
