Rakuten launches NBA Rakuten service

Tuesday 8 October 2019 | 11:42 CET | News
Rakuten launched 'NBA Rakuten,' a new service that will stream live on-demand all the games from the 2019-20 NBA season in Japan. Made possible following an agreement with the National Basketball Association (NBA), the new service will merge the 'Rakuten NBA Special' and other NBA-related content provided by Rakuten's VoD service Rakuten TV and the 'NBA League Pass' provided by the NBA to form a single hub for fans in Japan to enjoy all NBA games both live and on demand.
