Rakuten TV launches ad-supported VoD channels

Rakuten TV has launched its first ad-supported video-on-demand (AVoD) channels. The free section of Rakuten TV will be introduced with a combined linear and on-demand offer. The initial offering will include Hollywood and local content, to be expanded with exclusive Rakuten content, TV series, documentary series, news and sport channels over the coming months.
