Rapid solution needed to Open Fiber network project - TIM chairman

Wednesday 26 February 2020 | 13:58 CET | News
Telecom Italia (TIM) has to quickly find a solution to achieve the goal of merging its fibre-optic assets with those of wholesale operator Open Fiber, according to TIM chairman Salvatore Rossi. "We need an ultra-broadband network that's available to all… with a response time close to zero," said Rossi in an interview with La Stampa, before repeating calls to avoid a situation in which "two rivals dig half a meter away from each other".
