Red Bee Media to provide NLziet with managed TV services

Thursday 23 May 2019 | 15:37 CET | News
Dutch streaming platform NLziet has chosen Red Bee Media to provide managed TV services for its platform. The contract comes after Red Bee Media successfully completed a proof of concept with live streams of the UEFA Champions League in May. Services will include transcoding, packaging and the delivery of high-quality streams of live channels and catch-up content on the NLziet platform. NLziet noted that as geo-blocking gets lifted in the EU this year, it will be able use Red Bee Media's services to increase viewership beyond the Dutch borders.
