Red Hat starts new USD 1 bln share buyback programme

Red Hat has started a new USD 1 billion share buyback programme, replacing the one that ended on 30 June. Under that plan, the company bought back USD 751 million worth of shares (8.2 million). At end May, the company had cash and investments of USD 2.5 billion.
