RED IS 80% ACQUIRED BY EDEL MUSIC FROM SONY MUSIC

RED (New York, NY), music distribution subsidiary of Sony Music International, has been 80% acquired by Edel Music (Hamburg, Germany). Edel Music expects the JV to generate revenue of around USDlr100 mil in 2000. The acquisition and co-operation agreement must be approved by US authorities.
