WOBCOM (Germany), city carrier, has awarded a contract to Redback Networks (San Jose, CA), edge-routing specialist, for the latter to provide its SMS platform of subscriber management systems. With the systems, WOBCOM will offer fast Internet access and VPN services to business and residential customers. The systems allow carriers to develop VPN access for every business customer, offered according to the relevant service deal.
