Reggefiber network penetration stabilises

Dutch operator Reggefiber increased the number of homes passed by its FTTH network by 67,000 in the first quarter, to a total 1.755 million at the end of March. The number of homes activated increased by 20,000 in the three months to 567,000. While Q1 is often slow due to winter weather making it difficult to dig networks, there was little frost this year in the Netherlands. The reason for the slower growth at Reggefiber was a more conservative investment policy at KPN, its controlling shareholder. KPN set a target of 250,000 new homes passed at Reggefiber this year, with capex of around EUR
