Remote work drives over 40% of Dutch to adopt video calls, led by Microsoft Teams

The use of video chat and conferencing apps has increased significantly in the past two months, as more and more people work and study from home. Over four in ten Dutch people (42%) using video chat apps said they did so for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, research by Telecompaper found. While Zoom has been in the headlines, Microsoft Teams is actually the most used video calls app, according to the latest data from the Telecompaper Consumer Insights Panel.
