RIM may license out Blackberry 10 in future if successful

In an interview with Die Welt, Research in Motion (RIM) CEO Thorsten Heins said it could consider licensing out its Blackberry 10 operating system to other manufacturers once it has fulfilled its promise, as Microsoft does with Windows OS. Heins said RIM has personally visited 100 network operators and presented Blackberry 10, which was well received, as the operators want alternatives to Android, Apple and so on. He said there are people who want to be able to manage their social networks quickly and effectively, which is what the Blackberry 10 OS's Blackberry Hub will enable them to do,
