RIM opens BlackBerry Tech Centre in Slough
Research In Motion (RIM) has opened its first global BlackBerry Tech Centre at its EMEA HQ in Slough, UK. The new centre will be open weekdays from 9am - 5pm, offering a dedicated workspace for developers looking to create applications for BlackBerry 10. The BlackBerry developer evangelist team will be available daily to provide expertise and guidance to attending developers. Each day will have a specific focus so that developers can attend on a day that guarantees the support that is most relevant to them. Alec Saunders, VP Developer Relations at RIM, said that the new BlackBerry Tech Centre underlined RIM's ongoing commitment to actively engage with and support the efforts of the BlackBerry developer community.
