RIM plans carrier tests for BlackBerry 10 devices next month

Research In Motion will start testing new smartphones running BlackBerry 10 with operators next month, CEO Thorsten Heins said. Speaking at a developers event in California, Heins said the new phones are on track to launch early next year, Cnet reports. A new software development kit is now available to create apps for the new operating system. The CEO also showed off some of the features of BlackBerry 10, All Things Digital reported. These include the Hub, to unify all messaging and contacts, and Peek, to glance at the hub while using another application, without leaving the programme. Heins
