Ringier CEO laments Google's dominance of media market

Google's market power is "exorbitant", Swiss publisher Ringier's CEO Marc Walder told Suddeutsche Zeitung. Ringier is one of Google Apps' largest customers in Europe. It began providing its staff with Google e-mail accounts and other cloud services in 2010. Walder criticised Google for controlling about 70 percent of global internet searches. In the US, Google generated more advertising volume than all the US newspapers put together in the 2013.
