Rivals accuse Maroc Telecom of delaying wholesale access

Moroccan alternative operators Inwi and Meditel have accused Maroc Telecom of not meeting its requirement to publish a technical offer and tariffs within 45 days for fixed wholesale access, Agence Ecofin reports. Only two of the five markets Maroc Telecom was requested to open have been adressed, virtual unbundling and fibre access. The three missing ones cover shared cabinet access, full and part unbundling, and bitstream. Although regulator ANRT said Maroc Telecom had met its deadline, operators said this partial compliance will mean they will struggle to launch services using Maroc
