Robi to cut 650 jobs in Bangladesh - report

Friday 15 November 2019 | 09:39 CET | News
Bangladeshi operator Robi will offer its first voluntary separation scheme (VSS) to its 1,650 employees. According to Robi, a few hundreds of its employees have been without work for almost a year because of the operator's ongoing dispute with the regulator, local newspaper The Daily Star reports. Robi's management team estimates that the company's employee headcount will come down to 1,000 after the implementation of the planned voluntary separation scheme.
