Rogers posts slightly lower profits on flat revenues in Q3

Rogers Communications reported slightly lower profits on flat revenues in the third quarter, as growth in mobile and broadband offset weaker results from the media business due to less sports programming. The Canadian operator said it expects to complete the planned merger with Shaw Communications in the first half of 2022, pending regulatory approval.
