Rogers Q2 net profit halves as Covid-19 crisis hits media, wireless results

Canadian operator Rogers Communications reported another quarter of lower results, as the coronavirus outbreak weighed especially on its media activities in Q2, due to the cancellation of live sports. The company said it's accelerating the transition to digital service channels and lowered capital expenditure in order to preserve liquidity during the crisis. Due to continued uncertainty about the impact of the covid-19 pandemic, the company is not providing any full-year guidance.
