Romanian telecom authority removes 'Roam like at home' regulation for UK

Tuesday 22 December 2020 | 15:40 CET | News
Romanian telecom authority Ancom said local telecom companies no longer have the legal obligation to provide roaming end-users with national rates when they are visiting the UK. 'Roam like at home' (RLAH) will no longer be mandatory for the UK and Northern Ireland (including Gibraltar) from 1 January, following completion of the Brexit transition period. After this date, roaming charges for the UK will be set on a commercial basis.
