Romanian telecommunications authority's head Dita departs

Romania's telecommunications authority Ancom's president Adrian Dita ended his controversial six-month mandate after facing strong position within the institution, the government and the PSD-ALDE coalition who appointed him in May, writes local paper Ziarul Financiar. Dita was heavily criticised by the Parliament after conducting a so-called "shock reorganisation" in June. Following the reorganisation, nine people from the leadership team were moved to lower positions with lower salaries. Dita did not appear at the so-called "Ancom destabilisation" hearings on 20 June in the Chamber of
