Rome public transport agency Atac joins Fastweb, Ericsson 5G project

Rome's public transport company Atac has become the latest partner to join the Roma5G smart city project launched last year by Italian operator Fastweb and network provider Ericsson. Under the terms of the memorandum of understanding, Atac will provide civil infrastructure such as bus terminuses, poles and cable ducts for the fibre optic cables needed to support the 5G network in both indoor and outdoor environments.
