Romskog council may vote against broadband subsidy

A councillor in the borough of Romskog is asking her colleagues to turn down a request from Romerike Bredband to connect about 100 homes in the centre to fibre, according to newspaper Indre Akershus Blad's website. The matter was due to go to a vote on 19 September. The company is seeking a NOK 750,000 subsidy from the council, but councillor Anne Kirsti Johnsen thinks they should shelve the project, said Indre.no.
