Rosace public-initiative network sees arrival of ISP Vitis

Wednesday 5 April 2017 | 16:09 CET | News
French fibre ISP Vitis will soon commercialise its fibre broadband packages on the public-initiative network, known as RIP ('Reseaux d'Initiative Publique'), run by the Rosace consortium in the Alsace region. Scheduled to launch in June, Vitis' offering will be available over a footprint of 45,000 households by the end of the year. The Rosace project aims to deploy FTTH services to 370,000 premises by 2021 and counts Altitude Infrastructure as one of its shareholders. Vitis' standard triple-play subscription is priced EUR 39.90 per month for 1 Gbps.
