Rostelecom deploys fibre network in Petrozavodsk

Russian national operator Rostelecom has covered with its fibre-optic network nine newly-built apartment houses in the city of Petrozavodsk in the Republic of Karelia this year. More than 700 households are able to use services from Rostelecom over the PON network. Broadband at up to 200 Mbps, more than 220 IPTV channels and digital telephony services are available in the apartment houses.
