Rostelecom expands fibre network in Sakhalin

Russian national operator Rostelecom has completed a project on the deployment of its fibre-optic network in the town of Uglegorsk in the Sakhalin region.  More than 1,000 households have been covered with the MetroEthernet network. Broadband at up to 100 Mbps, as well as more than 220 IPTV channels, including 85 in HD, are available for customers there.
