Rostelecom expands network in Karelia, Archangel

Russian national operator Rostelecom has started connecting customers to its PON network in the town of Pryazha in the Republic of Karelia. Around 28 apartment houses, including over 650 households, were covered with the network in the end of 2016. Broadband of up to 50 Mbps, as well as over 220 IPTV-channels from the national operator, are now available for customers in the town.
