Rostelecom expands Wi-Fi network in Stavropol villages

Russian national operator Rostelecom has expanded the coverage of its public WI-Fi network in villages in the Stavropol region in 2018. About 114 hotspots were deployed under the framework of the federal programme to eliminate the digital divide. More than 35,000 residents of 100 settlements have become able to use broadband of speeds from 10 Mbps.
