Rostelecom to buy 1 mln Android IPTV set-top boxes

Russian national operator Rostelecom has launched a tender to accompany its plans to buy 1 million units of Android-powered IPTV set-top boxes, reports Vedomosti. The price for the device will go to a maximum of USD 47.74. The operator plans to spend USD 47.7 million for the contract.
