Rostelecom to launch first segment of Tea-Next network in 2022

Russian national operator Rostelecom plans to lauch the first segment of its fibre-optic backbone network Tea-Next in 2022, reports Comnews.ru. The segment connecting the Latvian-Russian border and Moscow will be first to go live. This segment will be used as a separate infrastructure element until the launch of the whole line connecting Europe and Asia.
