RRsat's Station711 starts selling Inmarsat's IsatPhone Link
Station711, the mobile satellite arm of RRsat Global Communications Network (RRST), said it has launched Inmarsat's new global fixed satellite phone, the IsatPhone Link, on its markets. IsatPhone Link offers voice capabilities, email and low-speed data services up to 20 Kbps in a fixed installation. It is targeted at remote areas where a stable connection is required for single or multiple users, such as remote work sites and communities, utilities, aid agencies and NGOs.

Mobile satellite services provider Inmarsat has launched the IsatPhone Link, a global fixed satellite phone service. Based on the IsatPhone Pro handheld satellite phone, IsatPhone Link will offer the same voice capacities, and e-mail and low-speed data services, in a fixed installation.
