RTL Germany increases market share slightly in May in target group

German broadcaster RTL said it reached a monthly market share of 28.5 percent in May among its target group of people aged 14 to 59, up slightly from 28.3 percent in April. The RTL channel itself recorded a monthly market share of 10.7 percent among viewers aged 14 to 59, ahead of ARD (7.9%), ZDF (7.8%), Sat.1 (7.5%), ProSieben (7.1%), VOX (6.7%), Kabel 1 (5.1%) and RTL II (4.3%). Nitro had a 2.2 percent monthly market share, Super RTL 1.9 percent, RTLplus 1.5 percent and n-tv 1 percent.
