RTL Hungary acquires 30% stake in Central Digital Media

RTL Hungary entered into an agreement to acquire a 30 percent shareholding in Central Digital Media, a web publisher in Hungary. Following the creation of a new Digital and Development department at RTL Hungary in 2015, the acquisition significantly accelerates the company's strategy to increase RTL Hungary's presence in the digital media market. The transaction is subject to approval by Hungary's Competition Authority. Central Digital Media operates a number of websites and mobile apps.
