RTR to create registry for broadband expansion

Austrian regulator RTR has been instructed by law to establish a land registry, namely the central information point for the support of the broadband expansion in Austria. This register, which has been successfully realised in some EU member states, will include detailed information, including lines, shafts, pipes or cabling in buildings.
