Russian govt proposes to force mobile operators to use encrypted SIMs

The Russian Ministry of Communications has issued a proposal to oblige mobile operators to use SIMs with encrypted protection of personal ID, reports Prime. A draft legal document on the issue has been published on the relevant state website.
