Russian telecom equipment makers propose domestic content quota for commercial buyers, support in tenders

Alliance Telmi, which includes the Russian companies T8, Elteks and Mikran, has submitted a proposal to the federal Ministry of Industry and Trade for support for Russian telecoms equipment producers, reports Kommersant. The companies have asked for ministerial support to expand their market share in the country, which currently lies between 6 percent and 8 percent.
