Russian watchdog removes restrictions on Telegram

Russian telecommunications regulator Roskomnadzor has removed restrictions on the use of the Telegram messenger app in the country, reports Prime. The decision has been agreed with the General Prosecutor's office. A draft law to lift the ban on certain websites and apps was submitted to Russian parliament earlier this week.
