Safaricom evacuates staff from Ethiopia amid unrest

Kenyan operator Safaricom has evacuated some of its employees from Ethiopia because of armed conflict and civil unrest that could disrupt its operations there, Business Daily reported. The Safaricom consortium aims to start operations in Ethiopia in 2022. The operator got the employees out of the country on 03 and 05 November.
