Safaricom plans to double 4G sites by March 2020

Safaricom plans to double its 4G network coverage to 5,000 base stations by March 2020, covering every major town and 80 percent of the Kenya population. So said CEO Bob Collymore as he released financial results for the year to 31 March, when net income increased by 14.7 percent to KES 63.4 billion and revenue hit KES 240.3 billion.
