Safaricom users borrow KES 81 bln through Fuliza in H1

Safaricom says its customers borrowed KES 81 billion in the first six months of 2019 via its Fuliza overdraft facility, The Standard reported. Analysts at Standard Investment Bank (SIB) say the figure is based on results published by the telecom company's partner banks. Fuliza is a partnership with Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) and KCB Group.
