Safaricom's M-Pesa goes down several times from 08-10 December

The Kenyan government has launched investigations into Safaricom's M-Pesa network outage, which occurred at different times on 08, 09 and 10 December and left millions of customers unable to receive or send money. Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru ordered the Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) to work with the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) to establish the causes of the fault.
