Samsung, Apple continue patent dispute in Korea

Monday 10 September 2012 | 04:30 CET | News
Samsung Electronics and Apple are bringing their patent dispute to a higher court in South Korea. Recently, a South Korean court ruled that both companies must stop selling some smartphones and tablets in the country as they infringed on each other's patents. Apple was ordered to pay Samsung KRW 40 million, and Samsung was told to pay its US rival KRW 25 million. Court officials told news agency Yonhap that the companies have now taken their dispute to a higher court.
