Samsung captures 95% share of Android Q1 smartphone profits

Global Android smartphone operating profits reached an estimated USD 5.3 billion in the first quarter, or 43 percent of the entire smartphone industry's USD 12.5 billion, according to Strategy Analytics. Samsung shipments generated an operating profit of USD 5.1 billion, representing 94.7 percent of overall Android smartphone profits.
