Samsung, Cisco, Verizon deploy 1st multi-vendor 5G trial

Samsung Electronics America and Cisco, together with Verizon, have successful deployed the first multi-vendor end-to-end 5G trial network in the field, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Verizon earlier announced plans to deliver the first 5G services to customers in specific markets by the middle of this yearf. Five US cities will begin trials in the second quarter, with pilot trials in a total of 11 markets expected by the middle of the year
