Samsung completes development of 8-nm semiconductor foundry process

Samsung Electronics has announced it has completed the development of the 8-nano semiconductor foundry process and is ready to start mass production, The Korea Times reports. Samsung plans to produce mass semiconductors using the 8-nano process in the next few months as well as accelerate preparation for a 7-nano process.
