Samsung expands DRAM chip production for AI systems

Samsung has expanded production of new dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) chips that can be used for artificial intelligence (AI) systems, Yonhap news agecy reports. Samsung started full-fledged mass production of its 8GB High Bandwidth Memory 2 (HBM) DRAM chips, applied to super computers, network services and graphic cards.
