Samsung France halts direct pre-sales of Note 7 amid demand

Samsung has stopped taking direct reservations for its new Galaxy Note 7 smartphone in France, Le Monde reported. The new Note is already the company's biggest seller in the country, and with demand far higher than it anticipated, Samsung will prioritise deliveries to third-party sellers, it cited Jean-Philippe Illarine, Vice President & Head of Mobile Business Unit France as saying.
