Samsung Electronics has announced the availability of its Galaxy XCover Pro rugged smartphone on the Verizon network in the US for USD 499.99. First unveiled in January, the 6.3-inch handset is designed for workers in the public sector, logistics, healthcare and manufacturing industries, with Samsung promising a slimmer form factor compared to similar phones built for business needs.
